This vintage BMC narrated clip of the first generation MK1 Mini assembly is as entertaining as it gets. It shows the build from the scattered beginnings to a competed car being driven out of the factory. The great detail and insight shown solidifies the fact that Sir Alec Issigonis is a mecanical genius. The iconic car would be manufactured untill 2000 and was the inspiration for almost all small front-wheel drive cars produced since the ‘60s. I could watch historical footage like this all day long.
