Chrysler released a new video detailing Dodge’s return to grassroots racing – it’s this wicked 2010 Dodge Viper ACR-X. Essentially, it’s a Viper ACR that naturally transitioned into a complete non-street legal spec racer. The ACR-X safety, downforce and horsepower are greatly improved over its insanely fast sibling.
What a sudden turn of events, a year ago the Viper’s fate was in serious jeopardy. Now, thanks to Fiat, the Viper lives on to slay another day – on a pedestal. Who would have guessed?
Bonus! Chrysler also released the November 24th video footage of a standard ACR breaking the production car track record at the Laguna Seca race circuit.
