Here’s a rare pair, you’re almost sure to never see a deal like this again. A pair of British 1958 Fairthorpe Electron Minors are for sale on eBay for a very reasonable price. Car #1 has had considerable body and chassis work completed. Car #2 is in poor condition, but it’s original, unmodified and restorable.
Judging by the pictures it appears the seller has done a fantastic job refurbishing and detailing the chassis to like new condition.
Looks like the motor is complete, detailed and ready to run, aye? It’s not, the seller states that the internals are not installed. He recommends swapping in a modern Triumph engine and gearbox, which is the norm apparently.

The fiberglass body has been stripped, cracks and damaged areas repaired and been sprayed with primer. Sanding is fun.

Car #2 in rough condition, but it’s still restorable.
I like the car’s style and the rarity is a plus. I’d say $4,200 for car #1 is a pretty good deal as a lot of the hard work has been completed. Car #2 is a bonus, it could be used for parts or sold as is to recuperate some funds.
