Priceless heaps: Worth it or not, some cars are more than a ride

FROM THE ARIZONA REPUBLIC: Phoenix mechanic Ted Noble just put a new engine in a customer’s 1993 Volvo. The bill was almost $2,500.

And, yes, the customer considered his options first. He looked at other cars and weighed how far $2,500 would go toward purchasing something newer than his 16-year-old model.
